Somerset House, London

Origin is a selling event of all disciplines of contemporary craft giving you the opportunity to buy directly from nearly 300 makers. Held in the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court at Somerset House, Origin will present a new selection of makers each week.

Concessions

Concession tickets available to the following:

Group Bookings

Accessible Origin

Origin: The London Crafts Fair is fully accessible for disabled visitors. Concessionary tickets for disabled visitors include an accompanying companion.

Nearest Tube

The nearest tube station is Temple (not on Sundays). Other tube stations which are close to Somerset House include Embankment, Charing Cross, Holborn, Covent Garden, Waterloo and Blackfriars.

Waterloo (walking distance over Waterloo Bridge).

There is a black cab rank outside Somerset House.

By car

Travelling to the venue by public transport is highly recommended as there are no parking facilities located within Somerset House.

There are several car parks in the vicinity of Somerset House. Please note car parks located on the south of the river can be considerably cheaper.

Origin is presented by the Crafts Council at Somerset House. The Crafts Council is the national development agency for contemporary crafts.

Origin Facilities

There will be full cloakroom facilities available within the pavilion. There will be a nominal charge for this service.

There are no restrooms inside the pavilion. Full restroom facilities are available within Somerset House. Restrooms are located in both the Courtyard East and West. Additional restroom facilities are located available on the Ground and Lower 2 (L2) levels.

Baby changing facilities are available on the Ground and Lower 2 (L) levels in Somerset House.
