Zoe Shearman

Zoe Shearman is Curator and Director of Relational, an independent contemporary art agency based in Bristol, which she founded in 2001.
She has curated or co-curated over 80 projects, including solo exhibitions by Louise Bourgeois, Angus Fairhurst, Christine and Irene Hohenbuchler, Sigalit Landau, Yoko Ono, Jayne Parker and Lois Weinberger; site-specific projects by Tania Bruguera, Melanie Jackson, Doris Salcedo and Zineb Sedira; and the multi-site projects The Visible & the Invisible, for inIVA (1996); Patterns (2001) and Homeland with Spacex, Exeter (2004).
She was Director of Visual Arts at Riverside Studios, London, 1990-94; an Independent Curator 1994-99 and co-Director of Spacex 1999-2001.
