Who is speaking?

  • OggaDoon is based on the simple idea that clever comms gets you reach and revenue. We specalise in high impact campaigns that use a nimble and fresh approach to PR, brand and media.  Caroline MacDonald founded OggaDoon in 2004, she is a Director at CIC Love The Future, who run Big Green Week, Europe's largest sustainability festival.

  • Jacob van der Beugel trained with Rupert Spira in 2002, then was assistant to Edmund de Waal in 2003. Jacob’s work varies in scale from large site-specific ceramic installations to smaller Still Life arrangements and his work is collected internationally and held in numerous private collections

  • Ivonna Poplanska creative director of Boudici, is a London based multi award-winning luxury jewellery designer. Over her ten-year career she has designed and developed high jewellery pieces for Royalty, as well as International Dignitaries and ultra-high net worth individuals.

  • Gian Luca Amadei, Programme Manager, Design, for the British Council which is the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities. Gian Luca will be sharing how the British Council supports makers working internationally

  • Chris Knight is an International Trade Adviser for the Department for International Trade along with his colleague Hilary Charman will be offering advice on what cultural considerations should makers be considering when developing their international brand and credibility

  • Inspirational speakers to advise and to help you realise your brand ambitions and growth of your creative business

  • What cultural considerations you should be considering and what no go areas are there for working globally, in particular with social media where there are no borders

What refreshments are provided on the day?

Tea and coffee will be provided at the start of the session and during the afternoon break.  A light lunch will be provided, please provide dietary requirements upon booking
