The Aram Gallery is an independently curated space exhibiting experimental and new design. In November 2012 we will open our first exhibition on contemporary jewellery showing beautiful, thought provoking objects by UK based makers. This exhibition is part of our on-going search to understand how designers do what they do.

Whilst we have shown contemporary jewellery before, it hasn’t been the sole focus of an exhibition. In each of our shows we expand on, explore and reveal how designers design – we are eager to use this exhibition to continue that exploration, this time with a specific focus on jewellery. Taking these exhibits as our guide we question what motivates and inspires these designers in a drive to demystify their process.
