Hear from Joanna Feeley, founder and Creative Director of ‘Trend Bible’ a leading trends forecasing company on how you can use trends to help sales, Andrew Tanner, ceramicist, consultant, mentor, author and designer with a passion and empathy for combining traditional craft with contemporary design, will tell us how trend affects the success and development of his work and Jonathan Baker, industry consultant and university lecturer on the retail industry will present key aspects of visual merchandising, and present inspirational examples showing how you can re-invent your merchandising style.
The event will be hosted at People’s History Museum which holds the largest collection of historic trade union and political banners in the world and is the UK’s leading authority on the conservation and study of banners.
A short walk from the museum is the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair where we round up our day with an exclusive preview of the event. Your opportunity to seek out new contemporary work for your venue and utilize your day in Manchester to the full.
The day will commence at 10.30am with coffee and conclude at 4pm with the option of visiting the preview of the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair.
