The Crafts Council and UK Hand Knitting Association’s Craft Club initiative is expanding into a range of community settings including museums, libraries and cinemas across the UK. Following hugely popular training days in 2011/12 including V&A Museum of Childhood Craft Club has confirmed new dates and venues.

Craft Club works on the premise with volunteers passing on their skills to others in a fun and lively environment – in this case to parents as well as children. It will strengthen bonds between local communities and between family members by enabling them to learn new skills together.

Can you knit or crochet? If you can and want to pass on your skills join us for a volunteer training event that will take place across the UK in 2012.
