Dip & Grow with the Craft Lab this year at Origin 2008

Fabiane Perrella and Karen Richmond will be creating an evening of experimental participation. Visitors are invited to join a ‘dip coating’ test laboratory where structures are transformed by dipping them in a multitude of colourful high gloss liquids.

Participants will experience an immediate, contemporary and bespoke process where blank objects acquire personality. People will engage with the space like an open kitchen and be enthused by vibrant and glossy colours at our lab.

Karen and Fabiane believe firmly in PLAY and their work is a celebration of people and objects that people make.

They have experience of mass participation making events with recent projects at the Tate Modern, Hull City Centre and the Barbican.
