Learn/ CraftNet: How to plan the town of craft/ 30 March 2011

General Information

Is it possible to replicate Hay-on-Wye’s success as a national centre for books by accentuating the role of crafts at the heart of a town’s cultural offer? What are the elements that would be required to transform civic space in this way? These issues are debated by curators, craft practitioners and cultural planners, hosted by Joanna Foster, Chair, Crafts Council and Professor Simon Olding, Director, Crafts Study Centre.

Speakers include:
Simon Olding, Director, Crafts Study Centre
