General Information
Three floors, across an impressive 120,000 sq ft. space, will be devoted to leading international brands, curated spaces, a temporary cinema, design stores, pop-up eateries, and more. Fans of vintage design classics and modern collectables can take their pick from 16 leading mid-century dealers and contemporary designers, hosted by Midcentury Modern. Other design items can be purchased from a variety of design shops in the dedicated retail area.
A series of interactive flash factories at the show will demonstrate some industrial and handmade production processes such as the wood-bending machine used to craft the classic 214 chair by Thonet. No other chair has ever been reproduced as many times (over 60 million and counting) which makes this manufacturing master-class all the more special.
