LCACE in association with VAGA, the Visual Arts and Galleries Association
presents: Developing Partnerships between Higher Education Institutions
and the Visual Arts sector.

The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity to discuss and explore the potential for the development of collaborations and partnerships between the research base in the university sector and the visual arts and galleries sector. It will also enable networking and the chance to meet future potential collaborators.

The event will take the form of a series of presentations followed by discussion and networking. Speakers will include: Stephen Beddoe (Artquest1, University of the Arts London), Professor Evelyn Welch (Queen Mary, UoL and Director, Beyond Text2), Dr. Nirmal Puwar (Lecturer, Sociology Department, Goldsmiths, UoL) and Nicola Triscott
(Director, Arts Catalyst).
