In the first of a new series of exhibitions to be held at Great Western Studios, Bill Amberg will bring to the project space the story of five artistic collaborations in leather – a bike, a floor, a desk, a bag and a Japanese collectible; design stories to be told through a combination of materials, sketches, tools and objects.

Amberg will explore his ethos of developing a product successfully through the process of making it.

This exhibition will also look at the importance of craft and how vital it is in the development of a design. Inside Design is a new season of exhibitions, where leading designers, companies and brands are invited to explain their journey. Business to business, creative to creative; showing their process and how they get it ‘just right’ in their products, branding, communication and DNA.
