The Jerwood Applied Arts Prize ends its twelve year run with the 2007 prize for Jewellery.

Run annually from 1995 to 2007 by the Crafts Council in partnership with the Jerwood Charitable Foundation, the prize and exhibition celebrates innovation, commitment and excellence in contemporary craft.

For 2007 the prize formed part of the Jerwood Visual Arts series alongside painting, drawing, photography and sculpture.

The exhibition presents work selected by each artist for the competition, highlighting key developments in their approach to contemporary jewellery during the last six years. A series of commissioned films guide the visitor through each artist’s creative process, inspirations and unique innovations.
