Oral history has become a significant methodology for understanding creative practitioners and the context and meaning of the work they produce. This seminal conference will bring together an international community of those working with oral history in the fields of art, craft and design, architecture and photography. Keynote speakers include the sound artist and curator David Toop, Michael McMillan, artist and author of The Front Room, and there will be a panel about Anthony Gormley’s ‘One and Other’ fourth plinth project.
