SET: 40 Years of Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins will show a selection of work that explores the rich history of the subject at the College. Featured designers include Gary Wright, Sheila Teague, Jane McAdam Freud, Ben Day, Fred Rich, Julia Manheim, Reema Pachachi, Zoe Arnold, Tomasz Donocik, Anastasia Young and Daisuke Sakaguchi. Also on show will be work by recent graduates Hollie Paxton (2011), Maiko Takeda (2010) and Yenz Lin (2009).
Jewellery design at Central Saint Martins dates back to 1908 and the CSM Museum’s jewellery collection maps half a century of developments in artistic practice and creative thinking. During this period the College’s jewellery studios trained students who rose to roles at the very top of the worldwide jewellery industry.
