The Speed of Craft: Presented by Think Tank, A European Initiative for the Applied Arts

In this rapid-fire presentation, leading craft theorists from across
Europe, including Glenn Adamson, Liesbeth den Besten, Mònica Gaspar, Benjamin Lignel and Jorunn Veiteberg, will present a series of short
talks on the subject of speed. Craft is often seen as ‘slow’ making – a
way to linger over the beauty and meaning of materials and processes.
But crafts people also know how to be efficient, and skilled hands can be
amazingly quick.
