In April 2010 Stylist magazine launched Stylist Network hosting a series of networking events and inspirational talks for ambitious women wanting to get their dreams of starting a business off the ground.

On 24 February in London, Stylist Network will be focusing on craft businesses with four entrepreneurs discussing their success, sharing tips and advice on starting your own business. The panel includes award winning textile designer Donna Wilson and Chrissie Charlton founder of Harrington&Squires. The panel will answer your questions including how they got started, how to make a profit and how to turn your craft in to a business, before you ask them questions over prosecco and canapés. This is a chance to network with like-minded women and learn practical lessons on business, marketing and branding.

There will also be business experts on hand who can help with the practicalities including the Crafts Council. We will be there along with members from our Maker Development team with advice and guidance on how to get started.
