Cathy Lane

Cathy Lane is a composer, sound artist, lecturer and researcher

She is interested in sound and the ways in which it relates to the past: our histories, environment and our collective and individual memories. Her work is often described as 'docu-music’, referring to her compositions of spoken word, field recordings and archive material.

Previous works include compositions and sound design for large-scale outdoor theatre productions, film soundtracks, live performance and installations.
