Board Members at Craft Scotland

Deadline: 11 February

Jobs

Description

We are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome new members to our creative and supportive Board. We are keen to broaden our expertise and perspectives, as we develop new and exciting ways to support, develop and promote craft into the future.

There are currently three Board places available, as members have completed their terms of office, with a further two places by the end of 2022. We are keen to welcome people who can bring fresh perspectives, are passionate about craft, creativity or design, and can help us deliver our ambitions.

Please download the Candidate Information Pack via the link for full information about Craft Scotland's Board, including benefits of joining, criteria and board roles and responsibilities.

We want to connect with and learn from other perspectives and networks, especially those currently under-represented on public bodies: Black, Asian, Mixed Heritage and/or a Person of Colour, refugee, d/Deaf, LGBTQIA+, under 50, or living with a disability. You wouldn't be expected to represent specific groups, but to bring your full self, life experience and unique lens.

Deadline for receipt of applications: 5pm, Friday 11 February 2022
Interviews: Wednesday 2 March and/or Friday 4 March 2022

How to Apply

If this opportunity interests you, please provide us with: either a covering letter (maximum two sides of A4), or a simple 5-minute video, which explains why you are interested in Craft Scotland. Additionally sets out what knowledge, skills and experience you would bring to the Board and what you would like to gain from your involvement. Finally, a current CV (maximum two sides of A4).

Applicants should apply through the Craft Scotland online application form via Wufoo. Full URL: https://craftscot.wufoo.com/forms/p1xztewq1jsouc9/
We also ask you to complete our Equal Opportunities Monitoring Survey (voluntary). Full URL: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LH3PJS2
