Description

Gain personally tailored advice from the Crafts Council's Business Skills team by booking an online consultation. Our informal one-to-one sessions take place over Zoom and last for one hour.

Our bespoke advisory sessions are suitable for makers at all stages in their careers. Come along and discuss your ideas, gain professional feedback, or troubleshoot any concerns about your creative practice.

The session is led by an experienced art and business development advisor. It is tailored towards you and all discussions are fully confidential. By the end of the session, you will leave armed with information and advice to inform future business decisions.

What is on offer?

  • We will arrange a one-hour advice session and a 30-minute follow up call.
  • We will provide you with a mid-term and short-term action plan to enable you to progress with your practice.
  • We will assist you to break down any barriers that are blocking your business progression.
  • We can signpost you towards the key networks you need to level up your creative practice.

Who is advising?

Head of Craft Business Skills, Caroline Jackman, has over 20 years of experience working in the arts and working to support the business and creative development of artists and makers, from amateurs to established professionals.

Crafts Council is the national organisation for craft and offers key advice to support artists, makers, and designers in their business development. Find out more on our About us page.
