Ambrin is a craftswoman in pursuit of innovation and imagination. She handcrafts unique pieces of jewellery and specializes in rare and incredible pearls. Her work explores themes of identity, tradition, heritage and spirituality. She uses pearls in order to blur the lines between convention and invention. Instead of perpetuating and imitating tradition her aim is to develop upon tradition. She works with pearls to create fresh aesthetics that reflect contemporary cultures and people.
