My textile research is centred around PTSD related to sexual violence against women. I create delicate yet resilient woven pieces aiming to reconcile women with their idea of intimacy and pleasure through touch. My haptic approach understands smart textiles as emotionally intelligent weaves because of its relationship to its wearer. This abstract and poetic approach research the neurological and physiological phenomenon for the methodology of what trauma means both universally and individually.

Focus:
Textile research for healthcare
Commissions:
Available for commissions
