I love the challenge of weaving. The precise, technical methodology required to set up a loom, the fun exploiting colour and weave, the surprises that always happen when exploring different combinations of yarn, sett and weave. How all that detailed work can result in something that is luxurious, soft and fluid. Designs are interpolations of moments in time - mood, light, shade - playing tunes with texture, colour and tonal relationships to create a strong abstract, geometric aesthetic.

abstract, colour, weaving
