About this project

These two sculptures were commissioned by Unravelled at the National Trust, which brings artists in to respond to the histories and stories of National Trust properties. This was for Uppark and linked the stories of two of the women in the history of the house to greek myths. I made sculptures of Io to represent the milkmaid Mary Ann Bullock who married the owner of the house, and Euthenia to represent Emma Hart, who became Lady Hamilton.
