Copper Necklace

About this project

Texture is important to me. Found bits of metal and fabric, married with random layers of porcelain slips, and copper glazes create unique surfaces. Volcanic blisters melt and meld over handmade beads and ornament, touched by the lightness of imperfection and spontaneity. Signature marks of the hand celebrate the art of the intuitive brushstroke. Distinctive pieces to play with. I love the malleability of clay. I want to enhance this property not deny it. These are versions of happiness.
