About this project

These animals are made from recycled and vintage fabrics which are hand sewn onto a sturdy wire armature that has been stuffed and bound to shape.
The dogs are loosely based on the artist’s own canine and the rats are modelled on her daughters’ pets. The textiles give the animals an added texture which really helps to make them seem full of life.
