Pace, Speed, Slowness (investigation through making)

About this project

Awareness of time helps us understand making – an engagement with objects, with listening, with observing, with health, economic and planetary wellbeing. Making might not always be a slow process but it has a multifaceted relationship to time, existing as long as man has, through traditions, and object and material lives.

By making a series of floor coverings which are re-shapeable, compostable and made from recycled materials, I thought backwards and forwards through time.
