Tokyo Wondersite residency

About this project

In 2012 I was invited to be artist in residence at Tokyo Wondersite, along with a group of others.

I spent the month exploring the city, visiting museums and taking traditional craft workshops and taking part in a 10 day long workshop thinking about what community meant after the 2011 tsunami.

Responding to what I saw during that month, I made a series of beaded objects, later exhibited at the Japanese Embassy London.
