Catherine Woodall

Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire

contemporary jewellery, nature, silver and gold

£20 — £500

Catherine initially trained as an engineer in the eighties before changing to a career in arts administration. However, her enthusiasm for science combined with the arts has led her back to the craft of jewellery making.

Her work has focussed on fin-de-siecle Vienna, drawing inspiration from the work of the Wiener Werkst├Ątte and the paintings of Gustav Klimt. Natural forms also inspire her, producing pieces impressed with leaf textures, set with dewdrops of rainbow moonstones and aquamarines.
