Tender Filum

About this project

Tender Filum looks at reconnecting with the self. The artist re-acquaints himself with his textile background and identity, something that has always been a part of him and his work, but almost disappeared. We see laying on the bed an organic, bodily form – a surrogate body, connected by cords and filaments that are link to two heads. They seem to be consoling each other, learning to see and converse again.
