Brighton Belles

About this project

Emphasising the elegance of a bygone era.

The Brighton Belle was the electrified train that ran between London Victoria and Brighton from 1933 until 1972.  The six first class Pullman carriages were each given a popular girls name from the period.  Each embroidery takes the name of one of the carriages and a character is created for that name.
