Helen Brough

glass artist, sculptor, painter.

London, Greater London

glass, large sculptures, painting

£5000 — £150000

My chosen subjects include urban, botanical, sea and landscapes with a natural curiosity in the unconscious. A poetic thread runs through the work reflecting the force of nature in the process of being. Colour is the driving force and using glass within large scale work is a passion.
Multi-dimensional, and multi material the work ranges from large scale installations to small pastels on paper, oil on aluminum paintings and painted and fired glass lights.

“What I am seeking is not the real or the unreal but something intangible - the unconscious. It is my job as an artist to deepen this mystery, to explore the instinctive and to make people look.”
