Ceramic Artist

Chaldon Herring, Dorset

Porcelain, sculpture, humour

Since pre Columbian times there has been a strong ceramic tradition in Mexico and my work is highly influenced by it. There are many different styles and techniques in every state of Mexico and I am fascinated by all of them.
That is combined with my fascination with English ceramic tradition as well and my work seem to have become a hybrid of the two cultures. I work with different ideas, clays and techniques, but the series I am more focus on at the moment is the faux delft porcelain figurine
