Judy Dibiase’s is concerned with the importance of memory and the act of remembering. Drawings and mark making are used as starting points being reworked and rubbed out, the marks layering up to make a complete image.
Shadows and small ephemeral objects and photographs are used a signifiers for memory. The drawings are often enlarged and directly screen printed onto thin parien or porcelain. These can then be cut, layered or visualised across several pieces. Work is often wall mounted.
