Gladestry, Powys

Sculpture, Mixed Media, recycled art

Using found and recycled materials I try to capture the delicate detail and beauty found in nature, creating intricate sculptures and displays. My sculptures are mainly influenced by plants and insects as I have always been fascinated by the natural world, botanical studies, museum exhibits and Victorian cabinets of curiosity. I mainly work with paper which I build into layers before carving, and often embroider to add texture and colour to my work.
