Hand Woven Collection

About this project

KULU has created a hand woven collection inspired by a victorian textile process called Shadow Tissues. The process merges screen print with weaving by printing the warp threads before weaving the cloth. This traditional technique has been replicated with a contemporary approach, through use of colour and design. The cloth has been embellished after weaving with further layers of print, creating a unique, modern aesthetic.
