Offering was commissioned by Unravelled Arts for the National Trust property
The Vyne, near Basingstoke. The work is 120cm long, made in two sections of fused and slumped glass with gold inclusions. Placed on antique table near the ante chapel it was displayed for six months until January 2013. Responding to the history and objects of the house, Offering focuses on aristocratic blood lines and the sacrifices of women in Tudor times through a sculptural interpretation of the Elizabethan ruff.
