Bellenden Map Terrace

About this project

Commissioned by Southwark Council, via architect Adam Khan to create a terrace for Petitou cafe terrace in SE15, Bellenden Map terrace was created as a Treasure Map of the local area. Bought in clay cobbles were glazed to represent large trees, and brick blocks were embossed with relief images captured at their location on the map. Subsequent commissions for Petitou include tile signage, and planters set in railings which was a collaboration with Andrew Grant of Creative Metalwork.
