About this project

City maps generally reference the urban environment. This project stripped away the built environment to reveal the underlying landscape of the London basin, and city’s forgotten water courses.

Peckham Postcards - A pool of water on Peckham Rye sparked a search for the lost River Peck. Reminiscent of Victorian lantern slides, these translucent tiles map the disappearance of the river and the development of Peckham from rural to urban village. Ehibited in Secret Rivers Museum of London 2019
