Earth Jars

About this project

Inspired by the Korean tradition of Moon Jars, this is a series of textured and full bellied vessels. The clay is stretched to its limits producing textures reminiscent of the land around me on the Isle of Skye. Most are raku fired and I am working to develop the pieces with other firing techniques.
