About this project

Work produced using the score folding technique, inspired by insect forms.
Score folding allows very thin sheet metal to be used to create voluminous and integrally strong structures. The folds have been used here to create a segmented effect which is suggestive of insect-like structures, and these have been embellished with applied tapers.
