Sea Creature Homeware and Jewellery

About this project

Pipistrelle’s fascination with sea life manifests through her collection of decorative homeware and jewellery, including flat fish dishes, whale platters and manta ray necklaces. Each piece is cut and hand shaped from porcelain with designs often scratched into the clay exploring mark making and texture. Pipistrelle uses oxides and stains in a painterly style to highlight the surface design. Plates and platters can be used for serving or displayed on a wall or plate stand.
