About this project
The jewellery of Shimell and Madden is rooted in a fascination with
geometry – not only the concepts that underlie this mathematical discipline, but also the aesthetic qualities that geometry affords, the sense of ‘balanced beauty’. These symmetrical pieces are built by multi-layering simple primal forms of lines and circles, transforming them into complex three-dimensional structures.
