I make porcelain pottery, still life installations, and sculpture, often referencing Meissen and Sèvres pottery, Renaissance, and Baroque painting, the body, and plants. The scale is from tiny to huge and the materials are mainly porcelain, painted colored slips, glaze, ceramic transfer prints, and gold leaf.

There are nature lovers and those who are a little worried about it. There are leaves that have inhabited art since antiquity and those that are born from the imagination of artists. There is the uncontrollable living, nature which reclaims its rights, and French gardens, with constructed geometry. All tastes are in nature ! This exhibition of contemporary ceramics brings together the work of six artists who draw varied and very personal inspirations from plants. Alveston Fine Arts was set up in 2016 to promote talented artists. Represented artists bring something unique to their craft, striving to change how we look at conventional art forms by using materials in imaginative ways.
