PEARLS

About this project

This an ongoing project exploring the complementary aesthetic qualities of pearls with leather.  I am exploring not only how pearls can be used simply for decorative effect but also how they can be incorporated into shifting the form and structure of the piece.

The project is inspired by the clothing worn by male and female courtesans during the Elizabethan age.
