About this project

A collection of ‘common’ garden birds one might encounter visiting the bird table.

Through the process of Creative Reuse I salvage materials of all kinds to recreate colours and textures. Creating depth, using layers of salvaged packaging and selected pieces of scrap to bring the image alive.

Through the process of Creative Reuse I salvage materials of all kinds to recreate colours and textures. Creating depth, using layers of salvaged packaging and selected pieces of scrap to bring the image alive. Unframed 22 cm x 26 cm x 4.5 cm These magnificent birds sit atop a wall-mounted birdhouse, unframed. Created using layered card packaging and decorated using salvaged fabric & paper scraps. When commissioned privately the bird(s) can encompass items of significance to the piece, which tell a story. This particular piece was commissioned as a 6oth wedding anniversary gift and is decorated with pearls.
