I started Marmor Paperie in 2015 with the aim of breathing new life into the endangered craft of marbling, a centuries-old technique of 'painting' onto water, then capturing the design on paper. I primarily make journals and sketchbooks using my papers but also enjoy experimenting and pushing the boundaries of the craft. Every item is individually painted; a unique piece.
Marmor Paperie was awarded the NADFAS/Cockpit Arts Award in September 2016 and continues to be based there.
