Brit a Brick
Brit a Brick collection is the result of the long walks on the foot paths of East Anglia during the lockdown. I tried to capture into the small jewellery items old walls, brick work, fences, churches. Brit a Brick is an obvious wordplay of Bric-a-Brac, which is defined in dictionaries as small articles collected for their antiquarian, sentimental interest. For me is sentimental, this is why I think that the name of a brick work would have been maybe a more suitable title: English Bond.

Beach Hut Locker Necklace, MCA walk on Sheringham beach in the winter made me curious about the little colourful wooden beach huts and their rusty lockers. The oxidized iron means history for me, even if it takes only a cold rainy winter to add the time patina. This dark, ancient look matches perfectly the East Anglia country side also and it’s everywhere, on the fences, doors, walls. This oxidized copper necklace might look rough, but is because it’s one of those necklaces which will discretely emphasize the beauty of the wearer. The necklace is made of copper
