I make sketchbooks, notebooks, journals, visitors books and albums using handmade, watercolour and pattern papers, leather, vellum and linen. Each book is hand bound using traditional techniques and archival materials, but with a contemporary feel. I like simplicity in form and design so that the materials can speak for themselves, and aim to make books that feel calm and subtle, enlivened by areas of colour, pattern or texture. I teach in schools, colleges and universities, and run workshops.

Focus:
Hand bound books, especially non-adhesive bindings and contemporary book forms
Stockists:
  • Perfect Bindings
  • Devon Guild of Craftsmen
  • Burton Art Gallery, Bideford
  • Made By Hand Online

Bespoke, one to one, Zoom tutorials
