Jekka

The design was in part driven by practicality; the step being adjustable to cater for different playing styles but also allowing for storage of guitars of different shapes and sizes. I did this by levering the step off the front legs using a custom made brass piece and angled notches cut in the legs. From an aesthetic point of view I wanted the seat and the step to be cohesive so cutting the step from the seat allowed me to maintain a geometry that is in contrast to the curves of the guitar.
