Presenting craft in a fine art context, Collect profiles the exceptional skill and intellectual rigour behind contemporary craft. Works in ceramics, glass, metal, wood, textiles and jewellery will be shown alongside makers working in non-traditional materials and using experimental techniques. At a time of unprecedented interest in craft, Collect sees the increasing passion for collecting, design and interiors come together with the energy of making.

Alongside the hundreds of exquisite objects on display by more than 34 high-profile galleries, Collect offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy an exciting and dynamic supporting programme of events and exhibitions.

Collect Spotlights, launched in 2017, are feature areas in which selected galleries highlight cutting-edge work in immersive installations.

Collect Open is an exciting platform developed by the Crafts Council to support both established and emerging artists to create more exploratory and risk -taking work. Selected by Jay Osgerby for 2018, all projects and installations are developed specifically for Collect.

The Collect Talks Programme features leading voices from the worlds of craft, design, fashion, architecture and art and aims to inspire visitors and encourage debate.
